Vyacheslav Nikolajewitsch Ionow , Russian Вячеслав Николаевич Ионов , (born June 26, 1940 in Moscow ; † June 25, 2012 ) was a Soviet canoeist . At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo , he was part of the victorious Soviet team in a four-kayak over the 1,000 m distance, alongside Nikolai Tschuschikow , Anatoli Grischin and Volodymyr Morozov .

At the Canoe World Championships in East Berlin in 1966 , he was world champion over the 10,000 m distance with the same line-up.
