Wladimiro De Liguoro

Wladimiro De Liguoro Presicce (born October 11, 1893 in Naples , † August 31, 1968 in Rome ) was an Italian actor and film director .

Life

De Liguoro, like his brother Eugenio , chose the same profession as his father Giuseppe and dedicated himself to acting after graduating in "Lettere e Filosofia". From 1912 he was seen in silent films directed by his father. In 1918 he married "Elena Caterina Catardi", who went by the name of Rina De Liguoro to one of the most celebrated Italian silent film actresses , with De Liguoro directing several times. As an actor, his performance was featured in Gaston Ravel's Rabagas . With the dawn of the sound film era, his career in film came to an end; he only directed twice, once in his home country and in 1938 in the USA .

Throughout his career, his theatrical work took up most of his work.
