Woedtke is the name of a Pomeranian noble family , which is of a tribe and coat of arms with that of Kleist , which first appeared in a document in 1263.

history

The line of tribe begins in 1389 with Joachim von Woedtke on Woedtke and Zirkwitz . The sex is divided into two lines: I. Line Woedtke, II. Line Sydow. In 1892 a family foundation was established.

The family estates included Woedtke , Zirkwitz , Buslar , Sydow and Bolkow . The eponymous headquarters was one of the oldest in Pomerania and remained in the family until 1945.

The coat of arms shows a red bar in silver accompanied by two fleeting red foxes . On the helmet with red and silver covers, three iron gag spikes with golden shafts, which have fallen fan-shaped onto three (silver-red-silver) roses.
