history

The one and two-storey, plastered houses with pitched roofs and mansard roofs and side gable risalites were built around 1905 side by side and mirrored in a similar design language in the era of the turn of the century in the reform style or English cottage style.

In the short Lortzingstraße from 1903, named after the composer Albert Lortzing , there are other gabled houses in the vicinity such as No. 1E and 1F, many of them as Bremen houses . Otherwise, two- to four-story residential buildings were built. The corner houses Lortzingstrasse / Schwachhauser Heerstrasse 78 ( Villa Gross or Bremer Medienhaus ) and 78B as well as Lortzingstrasse 6 are remarkable.

Today (2018) the houses are used as apartments and offices.
