The residential building at Dammstraße 18 in the town of Havelsee , in the Pritzerbe district, is a listed urban residential building.
Building
It is a residential building with one floor. The building stands alongside Dammstrasse. A bat dormer and a richly decorated portal are striking . The entrance is reached via two small steps. A multi-profiled roof with small decorative consoles is apparently supported by pilasters . The door has two wings with inserted glass panes in the upper half. There is a skylight above the door leaves. The door frame is carved on the inner surfaces with a profiled rectangular pattern.
To the right of the entrance is a large shop window divided into two by a narrow, carved wooden column . This has a somewhat simpler roof than the portal and a profiled border. To the left of the entrance there are two lattice windows, which have a common roofing similar to that of the shop window and a common window sill. Similar to the shop window, there is also a profiled border around the window. A simple eaves cornice is noticeable under the eaves . Perhaps the most striking detail on the house is a central bat dormer in the gable roof above the portal. In addition to this dormer, two modern hinged windows were incorporated on both sides. The roof is covered with beaver tails .
On the left, the house is directly connected to the neighboring building. On the right side there is a wooden garage belonging to the house. This has a wood saw work under its roof. The outer wall of the house shows an inconspicuous cornice above the garage, with the lower edge of which closes the roof of the garage. Above that there are initially three rectangular windows, each smaller on the outside, a larger one in the middle and another smaller rectangular window above. Three slightly protruding rectangular, almost window-like, but unevenly large, unprofiled structures are striking.
