The residential building at Butzower Dorfstrasse 8 in the municipality of Beetzseeheide , in the Butzow district, is a rural residential building that is listed as a historical monument .

Building

The historic building at Dorfstrasse 8 is a rural house with two floors. It is said to have been Butzow's oldest building and was built before 1800. The building stands at the gable facing Butzower Dorfstrasse and is part of a four-sided courtyard . In its basic structure it is an adobe half-timbered house . The half-timbering cannot be seen from the outside as the house was subsequently plastered gray. Externally visible jewelry is a simple, white-painted, profiled threshold between the floors. The rectangular windows of various sizes are bordered with white bezels . They are worked into the outer walls in an irregular manner. Only on the upper floor of the house facing the courtyard are two wooden lattice windows . The access to the house, which is covered with a small saddle, is also in the courtyard. To the north, brick- built courtyard or stable buildings are directly connected to the residential building. These were built according to a date incorporated into the masonry in 1904. The saddle roof of the house is covered with beaver tails .
