Wojtek Zarzycki

Wojciech "Wojtek" Zarzycki (born June 21, 1982 in Wroclaw , Poland ) is a football goalkeeper and plays as a professional for Ferencváros Budapest . He has Polish and Canadian citizenship . His Canadian residence is St. Catharines ( Ontario ).

He played for the Canadian Football Association in its U-17 and U-20 national team and participated in the 2001 U20 World Cup in Argentina . At club level, he played in North American college sports for Dartmouth College in 2001 , previously with the Werder Bremen youth team .

At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved from the Polish club Miedź Legnica to Budapest, where he wears the shirt number 99 of his ice hockey idol Wayne Gretzky at Ferencváros and is supposed to help the renowned club rise again to the top division.
