Woldemar Müller

Woldemar Müller (born January 13, 1860 in Rosenthal near Zwickau , † August 23, 1928 in Wachwitz ) was a German draftsman.

Müller was a professor at the Dresden School of Applied Arts in the subject of drawing. Walter Hofmann , who later became known as a librarian, was one of his students here .

He became known nationwide for the numerous views of Saxon places and landscapes he drew, which are mainly printed in the calendars for the Ore Mountains and Vogtland, which he published annually. Müller died a few weeks before the publication of the 25th year for the year 1929. He created a. a. also the illustrations for the Electoral Saxon forays by Otto Eduard Schmidt and worked closely with the painter Professor Paul Preißler .
