Wolf-Dietrich Kriesel

Wolf-Dietrich Kriesel (* 1950 ) is a former German major general in the Air Force.

Career

Kriesel joined the Bundeswehr around 1970 . He was an air situation and radar control officer. It was later used in the Federal Ministry of Defense and in NATO . From October 2000 he was head of the conception department in the armed forces command and control team, where he was involved in the development of the concept for the reform of the Bundeswehr.

From 2009 to 2012 he was Deputy Commander of the Bundeswehr Operations Command (EinsFüKdoBw).

His older brother is the Brigadier General a. D. Friedrich-Wilhelm Kriesel .
