Wolf Hogekamp

Wolfgang ("Wolf") Hogekamp (born July 14, 1961 in Kleve ) is a German filmmaker, slam master and slam poet.

Life

Wolf Hogekamp has been organizing Germany's oldest poetry slam series in Berlin since 1994 . In 1997 he organized the first German-language poetry slam championships and thus founded the most important series of events in the poetry slam movement in the German- speaking area .

In 2000, Wolf Hogekamp developed the poetry clip format together with Bas Böttcher . In 2005 they published the DVD Poetry Clips (Vol. 1) together . The short film festival in Oberhausen dedicated a separate evening event to Hogekamp's Poetry Clips in 2010. At the invitation of the Goethe Institute , Wolf Hogekamp was on tour in the USA with Sebastian 23 and Lars Ruppel in the summer of 2010 .
