Sebastian 23 , real name Sebastian Rabsahl (born March 23, 1979 in Duisburg ), is a German slampoet , book author and comedian .

Rabsahl studied philosophy ( Magister ) in Freiburg. He established himself on poetry slam stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2002, before winning the championship title in the individual competition at the German-speaking poetry slam championships in Zurich in 2008. Rabsahl has appeared on comedy and cabaret stages, in mixed shows and in television programs such as TV total , the WDR Poetry Slam or the NDR Talkshow .

He moderates poetry slams in Bochum, Oberhausen, Dortmund and Herne. He was also a member of the literary-performative boy group Smaat , which also included Gabriel Vetter , Felix Römer and Lars Ruppel . The latter was dissolved on January 28, 2011 in Giessen. Together with Misha Verollet , Sulaiman Masomi and Andy Strauss he founded the reading stage "LMBN", which takes place in the Fritz-Henßler-Haus in Dortmund . In 2016, he organized the North Rhine-Westphalian Slam Championships (" NRW Slam ") in Bochum , where he also runs the monthly reading stage Unlimited Monkeys together with Theresa Hahl , Jason Bartsch and Jan Philipp Zymny .

Rabsahl has two children and is married to the actress Friederike Becht .
