Theresa Hahl (* 1989 in Heidelberg ) is a German lyric poet and slam poet .

biography

Theresa Hahl has won numerous poetry slams in German-speaking countries, and her texts have been printed in various magazines and anthologies. At the U20 Poetry Slam Championships in Düsseldorf in 2009, she came third, and in 2011 she was in Hamburg's o2-World in front of 4,000 spectators at the largest final so far at the German-speaking slam championships . Hahl also achieved various successes at regional championships, for example she won the Hessian championship, the Hessenslam , in 2011 and was runner-up in 2012. At the NRW Slam in 2013, she reached the final in Essen's Weststadthalle . Together with Jason Bartsch , Sebastian 23 and Jan Philipp Zymny , she forms the regular reading stage Unlimited Monkeys in Bochum .

For the Goethe-Institut , Hahl traveled to India and Africa, among others, to carry out international lyric and poetry slam projects there.

Hahl is one of the main actors in the documentary Poets and Fighters, in which the life of poetry slammers is portrayed. The film premiered at the Berlinale in 2012 .
