The Wolfertschwendener Steige , in the district of Unterallgäu ( Bavaria ) is a registered geotope with the number 778A002 in the area of ​​the municipality of Wolfertschwenden , east of the village. The outcrop is located in the upper area of ​​a western slope at an altitude of 770  m above sea level. NN on the district road MN 18 from Wolfertschwenden to Böhen and lies at the transition from the natural areas of the Lower Illertal to the Iller-Lech gravel plates, in the geological unit of the Iller- Lech region.

The outcrop was created through gravel mining and shows conglomerated gravel on the quarry walls and sometimes poorly developed geological organs . The gravel of the geotope contains almost only limestone and dolomite pebbles, which are poorly rounded. The ballast comes from the Lower Pleistocene . The outcrop is 30 meters long, 10 meters wide and 8 meters high and covers an area of ​​300  square meters . The unprotected geotope, which was impaired by renovation work on the district road at the beginning of the 2010s, is classified as geoscientific significant and is rarely found in the region.
