Wolfgang Brodil

Wolfgang Brodil (born October 19, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian legal scholar .

Life

From 1969 attended elementary school with the school brothers in Vienna XVIII and from 1973 AHS at the Schottengymnasium in Vienna I. After graduating from high school in 1981 with excellent success, he broke off medical studies in 1985 for health reasons. In 1986 he was a PR consultant, Activita Public Relations, Vienna and then began studying law. After graduating in 1990 with a Magister iuris degree , he made 1991 court year in the district of the Higher Regional Court Vienna and contract assistant at the Institute for Civil, Commercial and Securities Law of the Vienna University of Economics, Christian Nowotny . From October 1, 1992 he was a full-time contract assistant at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Vienna with Rudolf Welser . After graduation in 1993, Doctor of Law , he was appointed Assistant University on July 1; from December appointed to the Institute for Labor and Social Law, Walter Schrammel , assigned to the service. In 1994 he received the Walther Kastner Prize. In 1999 he received the award of the Academic Senate of the University of Vienna. After completing his habilitation in 2004 for the subject of labor law and social law, he has been teaching as an associate university professor since 2004 . In 2005 he received the Leopold Kunschak Prize .
