Walter Schrammel
Walter Schrammel (* 1947 ) is a lawyer and a full professor emeritus for labor law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna .
Life
Walter Schrammel studied law at the University of Vienna. After receiving his doctorate in 1969, he completed his habilitation in 1981. In 1983 he was appointed professor.
From 1991 to 1993 Schrammel was Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Vienna . From 1999 to 2006 he was vice dean of the law faculty and chairman of the umbrella association of universities. He was visiting professor at Danube University Krems and since 1993 a member of the board of directors of the EURA and EUROJUS courses.
Outside the university, Walter Schrammel is chairman of the stage arbitration court in Vienna and deputy chairman of the permanent, neutral arbitration court of the Austrian Bundesliga .

- 1982: Cardinal Innitzer Promotion Prize for Law and Political Science
- 1997: Great decoration of honor for services to the Republic of Austria
