Wolfgang Buchholz

Wolfgang Buchholz (born August 24, 1934 in Meseritz ) is a German politician ( FDP ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

After graduating from high school in 1953, Wolfgang Buchholz studied history at the philosophical faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg from 1953 to 1957 and graduated with a degree in history. 1957 to 1972 he was director of the district home museum in Burg near Magdeburg. In 1972 he became a research associate at the Magdeburg Museum of Cultural History .

Wolfgang Buchholz is married and has one daughter.

politics

Wolfgang Buchholz joined the LDPD in 1962 . After the fall of the Wall , he became a member of the state executive committee of the FDP Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 . In the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the state parliament he was deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group.
