Wolfgang Buschmann (born December 19, 1943 in Rittersberg ) is a German writer .

Life

Wolfgang Buschmann studied from 1961 to 1964 at the institute for teacher training in Nossen (lower level teacher) and from 1970 to 1973 at the literature institute "Johannes R. Becher" in Leipzig. He worked as a teacher and writer for years. One focus of his writing is children's literature. A prose text and several picture book titles were translated into English, Spanish, Polish, Czech and Slovak. In 1988 the author received the Karl-Marx-Stadt district culture award . From 1992 to 2004 Buschmann was the headmaster of the Lauterbach elementary school in the Ore Mountains.

Wolfgang Buschmann lives in Marienberg , OT Zöblitz .
