Wolfgang Domhardt

Wolfgang Domhardt , born Ernst (* 4. March 1951 in Staßfurt , † 7. November 2019 ) was a German politician of the SPD and the first term in 1990 to the state election in 2002 a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1969 and studying in 1974, the graduate engineer for chemical apparatus and plant construction worked as a research assistant in industrial research at Magdeburg Armaturenwerke. He was married for a second time and has four grown children.

In the summer of 2017 he published his debut novel Richards Tinnitus . In it he explores the question of what shapes people. Is it just the big events or isn't it also the small, seemingly irrelevant everyday occurrences?

Political party

In 1989 Domhardt joined the Social Democratic Party in the GDR (SDP). From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the SPD city council in Magdeburg . He was also chairman of the Stadtfeld local association for many years .

MP

Wolfgang Domhardt had been a member of the state parliament since 1990 and represented the constituency of Magdeburg III. He was a member of the Education and Science Committee, chairing it for eight years.

Domhardt only narrowly missed entry into the state parliament for the 2002 election.
