Wolfgang Gerold Esser

Wolfgang Gerold Esser (born April 9, 1934 in Cologne ) is a German Roman Catholic religious educator .

Life

Esser studied Roman Catholic theology from 1956 to 1959 at the Franciscan religious colleges in Sigmaringen and Fulda . He then studied pedagogy at the Pedagogical Academy in Cologne from 1959 to 1961 . From 1981 to 1999 Esser was a full professor at the Ruhr University of Education / University of Dortmund .
