Wolfgang Gierlinger (born February 1, 1947 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Gierlinger was a member of the FC Bayern Munich squad in 1969/70 and made his Bundesliga debut on March 14, 1970 (27th matchday) in a 6-0 home game against Alemannia Aachen - substituting for Peter Pumm in the 74th minute . It was his only competitive game for Bayern ; He is currently one of 30 "one-time players" at FC Bayern Munich.

For the 1970/71 season he moved to FC Wacker Munich , for which he played 26 games in the Regionalliga Süd and was relegated to the bottom of the table in the amateur league Bayern . Not used there and yet returned with the team for the 1972/73 season in the Regionalliga Süd, he played 31 point games in which he also remained without a goal.
