Wolfgang Hatzky

Wolfgang Hatzky (born April 25, 1975 ) is a former German football player .

career

Hatzky, a 1.85 meter tall running back , began his football career in 1989 with the Hanau Hawks . In the 2000 season of NFL Europe he was under contract with Rhein Fire in Düsseldorf . At the end of June 2000, he and the team secured victory in the World Bowl with a 13:10 over the Scottish Claymores in the Frankfurt Waldstadion . In the following Bundesliga season in 2000 he played for the Hamburg Blue Devils , after which he moved to the Cologne Crocodiles .

Hatzky was a German national player, with the national team he came second in the European championship in 2000 and then European champion in 2001.

He was employed as a trainer for the Hessian national team, from spring 2004 he was active in the coaching staff of the Wiesbaden Phantoms .
