Wolfgang Jaeger (politician)

Wolfgang Jaeger (born January 6, 1935 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship and worked as a commercial clerk.

Jaeger had been a member of the CDU since 1958. He was active in numerous party committees, so u. a. District chairman of the CDU district association Gelsenkirchen. He was also chairman of the Christian trade union federation CGB, state association of North Rhine-Westphalia.

MP

From July 26, 1970 to May 27, 1975 and from May 29, 1980 to May 31, 1995 Jäger was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected from his party's national list.

He was a member of the Gelsenkirchen City Council from 1964 to 1991. He was also a member of the District Planning Council of the District President of Münster .
