Wolfgang Joithe-von Krosigk , b. Joithe, (born May 1, 1950 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Wolfgang Joithe-von Krosigk completed a commercial apprenticeship after attending school in Berlin . He worked abroad for 10 years and was most recently the organizer and system consultant for a software company in Hamburg before he was unemployed in 2003 . He moved to Hamburg in 1999. Joithe von Krosigk has two grown children.

In June 2005 he joined the party “Die Linke” and founded the working group “Work and Poverty in Hamburg” in order to fight politically against social cuts. One of his main demands is the increase in ALG II payments and the abolition of what he calls one-euro jobs ( job opportunities with additional expense allowance ).

In the 2008 election in Hamburg he was elected to the Hamburg parliament for his party. Although he was also a candidate in the constituency of Barmbek-Uhlenhorst-Dulsberg , he entered parliament via the state list . There he was the specialist spokesman for social affairs for his parliamentary group and vice-president of the Hamburg Parliament . He was also a member of the submission committee, the budget committee, the legal committee, the social and equality committee and the economic committee. In the 2011 general election, he could not win a new mandate.
