Wolfgang Keppler

Wolfgang Keppler (born December 26, 1903 in Stuttgart , † after 1952) was an actor in German talkies.

Life

Keppler's creative period fell into the years of the Third Reich . He played theater at the Münchner Kammerspiele under Otto Falckenberg . Films with him can be traced between 1934 and 1952. After the war, he only appeared in films twice.

His most prominent role was probably that of Rittmeister Alexander Repin, which he played alongside Pola Negri in Moscow - Shanghai in 1936 . The title hit from it was also a success on the gramophone record.

In Italy he worked in 1940 in the feature film Amiamoci così , which Giorgio Simonelli made in the studios of the Cinecittà in Rome for the Juventus film. The film was also released under the alternative title La nuova vita .

He also got a small role as a physical education teacher in the Luftwaffe propaganda strip Junge Adler (1943/44).
