Wolfgang Kiéck

Wolfgang Kiéck (born July 29, 1946 in Hamburg-Blankenese ) is a German politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament for the SPD .

Live and act

After graduating from high school in Hamburg at Lämmermarkt in 1966, Wolfgang Kiéck studied economics at the University of Hamburg . In 1972 he went to Hamburger Hochbahn AG as an employee and became head of the public relations department.

In 1966 Kiéck joined the SPD, in 1972 the ÖTV union . In March 1974 he moved up as a member of the Hamburg parliament. Article 38a of the Hamburg Constitution states that a parliamentarian who is appointed senator must suspend his mandate until the end of his term of office. This regulation meant that Kiéck would have to move into and out of parliament several times in the middle of the electoral term due to various changes of senators. He finally resigned at the end of the 1986 electoral term.
