Wolfgang Oswald (born May 7, 1960 in Landshut ) is a former German ice hockey player . He played as a defender in the ice hockey Bundesliga for EV Landshut and Mannheimer ERC .

career

Oswald began his professional career at EV Landshut in the 1980/81 season . The team from Landshut, with whom he was under coach Karel Gut , with whom he won the German ice hockey championship against the Mannheim ERC in the 1982/83 season , he remained loyal to the 1984/85 season . He then moved to the Mannheim ERC in the current season . With the Mannheim team trained by Ladislav Olejnik , the strong defender was German ice hockey runner-up in 1985 and 1987 respectively. In 236 games he was able to achieve 55 scorer points. In 1990 he moved to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga , where he played for ESV Kaufbeuren and TSV Erding, among others . In 1996 he did not receive a contract with EHC Straubing and ended his career.
