Wolfgang Rothbauer
Wolfgang Rothbauer (born April 24, 1978 ) is an Austrian metal singer, guitarist, bassist, composer, producer and founder of the following bands: Thirdmoon , In Slumber , Zombie Inc. , GodHateCode, Aeoneve and Silence After Carnage. Also co-founder of the German death metal project Eisblut alongside Michael "Blutkehle" Roth and Bursche Lenz von Eisregen .
Career
In 1994 Wolfgang Rothbauer founded the band Thirdmoon together with Markus Miesbauer and Milan Pejak , with whom he has released 5 albums so far. In 2002 Rothbauer founded his second death metal band In Slumber with which he has released 3 albums so far. In 2004 he founded the death metal project Eisblut together with Michael Roth and Bursche Lenz von Eisregen , with which he released the album Schlachtwerk in 2005. As a guitarist he helped out with the Austrian bands Eschaton, Olemus and Festering Flesh at concerts.
In 2007 he founded the band "GodHateCode", which includes Armin Schweiger (Afgrund, Distaste), Philippe Seil (Distaste), Lukas Haidinger (Ultrawurscht, Distaste) and Pelle Ekegren (Coercion, ex-Grave). Pelle Ekegren worked on drums until September 2013 and was replaced by Martin "Marthyn" Jovanovic Belphegor (band) for organizational reasons.
In 2009 he founded the death metal band Zombie Inc. with Gerald Huber (Collapse 7) , in which Martin Schirenc (Hollenthon, ex-Pungent Stench), Tomasz "Nefastus" Janiszewski (Belphegor, Fleshcrawl, Debauchery) and Daniel Lechner (ex -Lacrimas Profundere) and contribute. Tomasz and Daniel were later replaced by Martin Arzberger (Hollenthon) on bass and Florian Musil (Molokh) on drums for organizational reasons.
From September 2010 to July 2013, Wolfgang Rothbauer also worked as a guitarist in the German death metal band Disbelief . Rothbauer has been the bass player in the Austrian band Edenbridge (band) since February 2013 .
In February 2019, after moving to Freiberg in Saxony, he joined the Nossener death metal band Musical Massacre as a singer.
