Wolfgang Sabath

Wolfgang Sabath (born March 28, 1937 in Berlin ; † March 6, 2011 ) was a German journalist and author.

Career

After studying economics (political economy) at the Humboldt University of Berlin (1959–1963), he was an editor at the weekly Forum (“newspaper for intellectual problems of young people”) and the cultural-political weekly Sunday , after 1990 editor at Ost -West weekly newspaper Freitag , which emerged from the Sonntag , the Volkszeitung and de fact .

Since 1998, Wolfgang Sabath has been an employee and editor of the biweekly for politics, art and economy Das Blättchen .

Between 1996 and 2001, Wolfgang Sabath wrote the “Interface” on page 22 for the Berlin street newspaper Strassenfeger . The interface was a satirical-ironic commentary on current political events. He was also the author of the social science journal Utopie Kreativ .

After Das Blättchen no longer appeared in print on September 28, 2009 (issue 20/2009), Wolfgang Sabath became the publisher of the online version.

Wolfgang Sabath had five children.
