Wolfgang Uthe

Wolfgang Uthe (born March 4, 1906 in Cologne ; † March 15, 1964 ) was a German captain and politician ( DP ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

After finishing school, Uthe went to sea and acquired his captain's license at the Bremen Seafaring School . From 1939 to 1945 he served in the Navy during World War II and was a prisoner of war until 1947. He then worked as a seaman and captain in Bremerhaven-Lehe .

politics

Uthe was a member of the NSDAP from 1933 to 1940 . In 1948 he was denazified as unaffected .
After the end of the war he joined the German Party (DP).

From 1951 to 1955 he was a member of the Bremerhaven parliament for Bremerhaven .
