Wolfgang Windmann (born August 15, 1944 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The defender Wolfgang Windmann played for SC Herford and in 1976 made it to the 2nd Bundesliga with his team . He made his debut there on September 8, 1976 in the 2-0 victory of Herford against Wuppertaler SV . Since Windmann only appeared five times during the season and did not score, he let his career end with the amateur club SV Oetinghausen from Hiddenhausen . He later became chairman of the association.
