Wolfram Dornik

Wolfram Dornik (born May 13, 1978 in Feldbach ) is an Austrian historian . He is head of the Graz City Archives .

Life

From 1997 to 2003 he studied history at the University of Graz . After completing his master's degree in 2001, he completed his dissertation in cultures of remembrance in cyberspace in 2003 . An inventory of Austrian websites on National Socialism and the Holocaust for Dr. phil. PhD; The supervisor of the work was Helmut Konrad .

From 2004 to 2015 he was a research fellow at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Research on the Consequences of War in Graz. Between 2005 and 2013 he was also a lecturer in the media course and in 2010/11 at the Institute for History at the University of Graz. From 2011 to 2015 he was the scientific director of the Heimat.Museum in Tabor in Feldbach.

He has been head of the Graz City Archives since September 2015. His main research interests include a. First World War , museology , Austrian history , culture of remembrance , regional history and biography research .
