Hannes Leidinger (* 1969 in Gmunden ) is an Austrian historian .

Life

Leidinger studied history , prehistory and early history at the University of Vienna and is also a lecturer there. He held two visiting professorships at the University of Vienna. He also teaches at the Universities of Salzburg , Bern and the Andrássy University in Budapest . Leidinger completed his habilitation in 2011 at the University of Vienna with a thesis on the suicide problem in Austria . He is a member of the Austrian Military Historical Monument Commission. Leidinger lives in Vienna.
