Wolfram Stender (* 1962 ) is a German sociologist .

Life

Wolfram Stender studied sociology , philosophy and social psychology in Hanover and Hamburg . He is professor of sociology at the University of Hanover . His work focuses on the study of anti-Semitism and racism as well as the fundamentals of social science and social work science. Stender is considered a representative of critical theory .

Stender is a member of the scientific advisory board of Netzwerk Grundeinkommen , the German organization in the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) for an unconditional basic income .
