Acadia University in Wolfville

Wolfville is a popular tourist destination, on the one hand because of the unique scenery of the Bay of Fundy , but also because of the many cultural events that are offered by the university and the city. The town has been able to retain its charm mainly thanks to the old Victorian houses, some of which have been converted into bed and breakfast accommodations. In the 1970s, Wolfville was declared a nuclear free zone.

The community lies on the edge of the Grand Pré cultural landscape , a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
