Volodymyr Iwanowytsch Jeserskyj ( Ukrainian Володимир Єзерський ; born November 15, 1976 in Lemberg ) is a Ukrainian football player . The defender is considered to be an extremely robust and unpleasant opponent who can sometimes reach out.

Jeserskyj began playing football as a youth at SKA Lviv . He then played for Karpaty Lviv, Dynamo Kiev and Kryvbas Krywyj Rih . From 2000 he played for the top club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk until he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2007 . There he was able to win the Ukrainian championship and the Ukrainian cup in his first year. In 2010 he played eleven games on loan with Zorya Luhansk , which also signed him after the loan.

He made his first appearance in the Ukrainian national team in 1998. After the successful first-time qualifiers Ukraine for a World Cup , he was in the squad called and came in the group match against Spain for his first WRC assignment.
