The Woozle Hill is a 50 m high hill in near the center of Galíndez Island in the group of Argentine Islands of the Wilhelm Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula .
Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934–1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped it. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959. It is named after a virtual animal from the children's book Pooh the Bear by British author AA Milne from 1926, which leaves traces in the snow that actually come from the main character walking around in circles after him. The background to the name is the fact that the hill was a frequent object of investigation for ice studies and afterwards circular footprints were visible from its summit.
