Word 6 (Quedlinburg)
The Word 6 house is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located in the southern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the corner of Word and Carl-Ritter-Strasse . The house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a merchant's house and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house consists of two building parts. The older part is the northern half of the house from around 1600. The facade is decorated with foot struts and profiled planks. The upper floor overhangs.
The southern part of the building was built after an inscription on the threshold in 1738. A distinctive feature is a storage gable facing south .
In the courtyard there is a wing from the beginning of the 19th century. Other buildings are more recent.
