The house Word 1, 2 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located south of the town's market. The building is registered in the Quedlinburg Monument Register and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the west of the house is the Word 3 building, which is also listed . The Mühlengraben flows directly north of the house .
Architecture and history
The elongated three-story half - timbered house was built in 1675 by Hans Rühle , according to another spelling, Hans Reule . The inscription HANS REULE ZIMMERMAN is provided with a coat of arms. The half-timbered facade with its typical appearance for the Quedlinburg half-timbered building is remarkable. Diamond crosses can be found in many parapet areas . There are pyramid beam heads on the threshold , on which there is also an inscription . One door of the house dates from 1730 and is designed in the Rococo style.
