The Workman Rocks are a group of cliffs off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located immediately west of the Panther Cliff in front of the entrance to Ensenada Aguayo in the northeastern part of Darbel Bay .
Aerial photographs were taken between 1956 and 1957 during the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the US physicist Everley John Workman (1899–1982), who had studied the electrical properties of ice.
