The World Games are every four years an important event for the non-Olympic sports. The games are hosted by the International World Games Association - IWGA. Artistic cycling has only been featured once in the World Games program, namely in 1989 in Karlsruhe.

The 3rd World Games were from 20 to 30 July 1989, on the German Karlsruhe held.
