Worthley Peak

The Worthley Peak is a 838  m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Holland Range, it rises at the northern end of Benson Ridge above Robb Glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own tellurometer measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Elmer G. Worthley Jr. (1921-1991), who from 1958 to 1959 worked as a bryologist at McMurdo Station in the United States Antarctic Research Program .
