The Wren Library is Trinity College's library as part of Cambridge University in Cambridge .

The library building was designed by Christopher Wren in 1676 and was completed in 1695. The building consists of a large hall with high windows that allow a lot of light. The bookshelves contain carvings by Grinling Gibbons on the front . The library houses over 1,250 medieval manuscripts , including the great 12th century Eadwine Psalter from Canterbury Cathedral and the 13th century Anglo-Norman Trinity Apocalypse . Also available is Isaac Newton : Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica with handwritten notes for the second edition.

Of particular note are the autographs by Alan Alexander Milne on Pooh the Bear and Pooh is building a house which are also preserved here.

The library is temporarily accessible to the public.
