Wu Ching-Kuo
Wu Ching-kuo ( Chinese 吳經國 , Pinyin Wú Jīngguó , W.-G. Wu Ching-kuo ; born October 18, 1946 in Chongqing ) is a Taiwanese sports official , engineer and entrepreneur . From 2006 to 2017 he was President of the Association Internationale de Boxe Amateure (AIBA).
Life
Wu studied engineering at Tunghai University in Taiwan and Oxford University in England. Wu has been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 1988 . Wu is President of Taiwanese company CK Wu & Associates International and Chairman of GRC Development Co. Ltd.
2013 awarded him the United States Sports Academy in Daphne the honorary doctorate .
