Wu Penggen ( Chinese  吴鹏 根 ; born May 7, 1982 in Nanjing ) is a Chinese beach volleyball player.

Career

In 2005, Wu completed his first joint tournament in Brazil with his long-term partner Xu Linyin . At the 2007 World Cup in Gstaad , they took a good fifth place. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , they also made it into the top ten in front of their own audience, finishing ninth. Then Wu and Xu separated for a year, only to find their way back to success since the end of 2009. In 2010 Wu / Xu achieved their greatest successes to date with the tournament victories in Moscow and Marseille . In 2012 they took part in the Olympic Games in London for the second time .
