Wuqiao

Wuqiao ( Chinese 吴桥县 , Pinyin Wúqiáo Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in Hebei Province .

It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Cangzhou . Wuqiao County has an area of 603 km² and has a population of 280,000 (as of 2004). Its main town is the Sangyuan (桑园镇) community.

The district is known nationwide for its acrobats . The Wuqiao International Acrobatics Festival, one of the three most important acrobatics festivals in the world, takes place every two years and has taken place eleven times so far.
