Cangzhou ( Chinese  滄州 市  /  沧州 市 , Pinyin Cāngzhōu shì ) is a prefecture -level city in the northern Chinese province of Hebei . Cangzhou has an area of ​​13,419 km² and about 7.5 million inhabitants (2016). 499,411 people live in the actual urban settlement area of ​​Cangzhou (2010 census).

Almost 35 percent of the population of Cangzhou are Hui Chinese .

Administrative structure

At the district level, the city is made up of two urban districts, nine districts, one autonomous district and four independent cities. These are:
