Cangzhou Iron Lion

The Cang District ( Chinese  沧县 , Pinyin Cāng Xiàn ) is a district in the Chinese province of Hebei . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Cangzhou . In 1999 it had 646,108 inhabitants.

The Iron Lion of Cangzhou (Cangzhou tieshizi 沧州 铁 狮子) from the late Zhou dynasty and the burial place of Ji Xiaolan ( Ji Yun紀 昀, 1724–1805) (Ji Xiaolan mudi 纪晓岚 墓地) from the Qing dynasty have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1961 and 2006 respectively .
