The Hintere Wurmkogel 3082 m together with the Vorderen Wurmkogel 2828 m form a side ridge in the Gurgler Kamm in the Ötztal Alps .
Tourist development
The Wurmkogel is part of the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl winter sports area, and the Wurmkogel II chairlift leads just below the summit . There is also a panorama platform called Top Mountain Star belonging to the ski area . The last few meters to the summit cross lead over a secured path .
