The Wyandot Point is a rocky headland on the north coast of the Antarctic Ross Island . It is 5 km west-southwest of Cape Tennyson .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2000 after the USCGC Wyandot , a cargo ship used in Antarctic waters between 1955 and 1972 .
