The Wynn Knolls are a series of small hills on Signy Island in the South Orkney Archipelago . They project to the west of Jane Col on.
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey took from 1947 to 1950 surveys before. Aerial photographs were taken in 1968 by the Royal Navy . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 2004 after the microbiologist David Wynn-Williams (1946-2002), who worked for the British Antarctic Survey from 1975 to 2002 .
